Mark’s Mission was set up by three friends following the devastating news in April 2024 that their long term friend Mark Monaghan had stage four Glioblastoma, a terminal brain tumour. The missions aim is to raise funds to discover the causes of this uncurable cancer, find new treatments and ultimately a cure.
The three are cycling from Kingston Park, the home of Newcastle Falcon’s to the Saints ground at Franklins Gardens. Their journey taking them to all the English Premiership rugby grounds, a journey of 800 miles. (approx. 100 miles a day), calling in at Leisure Lakes Bikes who are a key supporter of their quest.
